I am afraid that its NO.

Even if you have a high TOEFL score, they'll ask you to take the ILETS.

Good Luck

Okay, I live in Nigeria and English Language has been my first official Language since birth. Must I take the IELTS? Can I write to them to explain myself. I have an old TOEFL score though.

They will request IELTS and no an old TOEFL won't cut it.

Hello guys:
I'm wondering if the toefl IBT could replace the ILETS?
please let me know

If you're asking whether you can take TOEFL instead of IELTS, I think it's a YES, unless of course if you were specifically asked to take IELTS then that's another story. Both IELTS and TOEFL test English proficiency. Usually the test results are valid for one year.

I had TOEFL score but visa office asked me for IELTS. So I am sure they wont accept TOEFL.

in your case, your written explanation and documentry proof will be enough.

No! IELTS cannot be replaced by TOEFL as far as Canadian immigration is concerned! Only two organizations are approved for English language testing and TOEFL is not one of them. Check this out -
