Can the study permit be terminated in this case?

Just posting for my friend who's having some issues.

She is already in Canada. Received her study permit last September, but could not attend the college as she planned (Sep 2017) because the permit came on Sep 9 and the program was already full.

So she planned on going to college this September (2018) and in the meantime attended Language school (of course a DLI)

Recently she was asked to provide proof of current enrolment by IRCC. But unfortunately her DLI (language school) refused to give official letter because her attendance was poor for recent months (May - June)

But she attended throughout most of previous academic year (Nov - Apr) and has transcript to support. In addition, she is already accepted for college program to start in September 2018 and has already paid tuition.

Do you guys think IRCC may terminate or cancel her study permit since she could not provide official letter of enrolment from DLI?

Any advice is truly appreciated

Did your friend change her college formally by notifying IRCC when started attending this alternative course ? I am only guessing but sounds possible the institution may well have reported your friends attendance record to IRCC hence their enquiry.

Is there high chance of termination, despite showing academic activity in the past year and enrolment/payment for future college attendance?
What should she write in the letter? It says to explain if you cannot provide information regarding current enrolment status...

Are you applying for the extension of study permit and not providing the enrollment letter , there is 100% chance your study permit will be refused...Also if you was not able to get course in September why didn’t u tried getting a different course in Januray or Summer intake....you also didn’t told CIC about change in DLI college..your study permit is most likely to be terminated ..ask CIC about your current study permit status..if they say its cancelled then u must leave Canada now
