I am sorry if this is a repeated question but here is my situation.

I am a Canadian, living with my Portuguese husband in Portugal. We have applied for his PR, and it has been "in process" in the Paris office since Mar. 09.

Due to some family issues, I am hoping to make a one-week visit to Ontario, and I would really like my husband to come. However, we are not sure if this could hinder his PR process. Does anyone have any advice on this issue? Does immigration look down on him traveling during the PR process?

Any help would be greatlly appreciated!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
That is no problem, You will come as a visitor. As long as you can show your return ticket!

You need this:

1) proof that the visitor will leave Canada after the visit.
(Return ticket, job awaiting in country of residence, a bank statement with a balance)

2) proof that the visitor will have enough money to cover the expenses of his visit.
(A letter of invitation from you, stating that you will cover his entire expenses during stay, or a bank statement with a sufficient balance)

That should do it,
Good luck.
