Dear Members

I applied to study master degree in a university in a small city in British Columbia and i had it. It was not my desire to apply in that university, but i had to do this to guarantee that the embassy in my country approve my study permit because they have rules and i did so to follow their rules. Now i want to study in Ontario or Quebec, and the refund policy at the university states that i can ask for a refund in any case except the visa refuse and in that case the refund will not exceed 75% of the tuition deposit. My question if i asked for that refund, will the admission in the university inform the CIC??? And if they informed the CIC, Will the CIC cancel my permit in that case???

Please i need help and an advise before i start doing any thing.

Thanks for your concern. I had already the study permit stamped on my passport. I still in my home country but i prepare my self for leaving it within 45 days maximum. I didn't have an admission from a new university yet.

You are required to notify CIC of the change.

Note that there may be additional requirements to study in Quebec (you'll need a CAQ):

you should not do any thing righ now dont send any email to CIC now becz they can still reject you at port of entry and do not refund as university will notify CIC about that you can do what ever you what after entry into Canada but you should enter Canada little earlyer
