Can;t sign application form?

if you submit the application online you do not need to sign documents by hand there is a signature option online after attaching all the docs required if you are submitting paper application then you need to sign all docs

Thanks for letting me know. I read so many people saying you need to print it, sign it, and then scan it. It’s really confusing

I have seen this question on the Help Centre and I know the whole application is signed online. But my husband was saying he always signed and scanned all forms for his previous TRV applications. Also, we are including IMM forms 5645, 5713 and 5476. Don't they need to be signed? I am just wondering if we have to send forms to my in-laws for them to sign and scan. Thanks for your help.

Application form (5257) doesnt need to be signed as it's done electronically. Other forms where you need the signature of another person must be signed (the forms mentioned in my previous post)

I downloaded the IMM5645 form from the IRCC website however, I can validate and sign electronically on other forms but the IMM5645 form, I cant validate and sign
