Hello everyone-

My husband would like to bring his parents to Canada on a Supervisa, but does not meet the LICO on his own. Am I able to cosign with him if our combined incomes meet the LICO? If so, how would this be done? Would we both just submit our T4's? Could I submit my most recent T4 and he submit a letter from his current employer?

Also, if we are cosigning for this, should me information also be included on the letter of invitation?

Thank you,

RM

It is the family income which is yours and your spouse income added together. If you have filed your tax returns then Notice of Assesment of both of you will be required, otherwise employment letter stating the position and salary can be sent. In the sponsorship affidavit our spouse can write the family income.
