Can someone tell me

I applied for a visitor visa in VAC office in Amman Jordan on July 15th
Havent heard back from them yet.....
I was informed by the embassy is in the security check process in Canada
Does anyone know how long this takes ?

It has been a while. It shouldn't take that long. You may wanna check with them again

Thanks , I checked again today and got the sample reply....still in the security check in Canada.
I was granted several Canadian visas before and studied there for 5 years. It never took that long!
