Hi All,

I've tried twice to submit my profile under express entry and both the time I receive "Profile Ineligible".
I am not sure why ? As per the tool available at http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp in order to check the eligibility, I'm meeting the required score i.e 67 (reference code:BD9860651171) .

I first thought maybe I might have filled something wrong, that's why I tried one more time. Below are my details required for EE :-

1) Education :- WES equivalent to Canadian 4 years (Bachelors)
2) IELTS :- CLB - 8 ( Listening 8, Reading 6 , Writing 6.5, Speaking 6.5 = Band 7)
3) Work Experience :- 3+ years ( Primany NOC - 2171)
4) Offer Letter : - NON-LMIA for Sales Manager designation ( NOC - 0124)
5) Marital Status :- Single
6) Age:- 25 years

Please help me out. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Do I meet the necessary score in order to be in the express entry pool ?

Can someone provide their email ID, so that I send a screenshot of what all was filled during submission ?

Hi there people, I have recently created a new EE profile on 15 August since my old profile has expired...My old EE profile has a UCI number.
However, my newer one does not ask or show one. Is that normal?

From my own experience, the first time around I accidentally selected "in good standing but degree not awarded" instead of "degree awarded" because in my excitement I only noticed "in good standing". Read everything very slowly, speak it aloud if you think it helps. I'm sure you're probably just selecting/not selecting something small.

Try calculating the FSW score manually to confirm your eligibility. Here is the link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Also, what is the amount of money you are entering, as the funds you will bring to Canada? For a single applicant, it should be 12,300 CAD at least.

Check that you are mentioning your Primary Occupation as 2171.

Hi, I had a similar experience when I created my profile. The issue was with the funds we mention. Try to increase the amount a bit more. For me it was 18825 for a family of 3, and it showed profile ineligible, but the next time I mentioned 18850,slightly a higher amount, there was no issue at all.
One suggestion is to try that out. Hope it works. Good luck

Hi,
There are a few facts missing from the information you gave us (such as if you've ever studied or worked in Canada, or if you have any family members in Canada) but, for purposes of answering your question, I'm going to assume you don't have these things since you didn't mention them.
You mention you have an offer letter, but then you state 'NON-LMIA' - I could be wrong, but my understanding is that most job offers have to have an LMIA in order to claim points for them...or is it that your job offer is somehow LMIA exempt?

If it's not exempt, this could be causing the issue, as you may not be getting points for it, and this wouldn't take you to the 67 point threshold...but as I said, I'm just guessing as we don't have enough information.

As other people have already mentioned, though, a very common reason for not getting through is because of insufficient proof of funds (of course, you're exempt from this if you have a valid job offer but, again, without an LMIA, I don't think most job offers are considered 'valid')...
