NA to IP2 - Days of Anxiety but optimism
IP2 to PPR - Days of severe anxiety but optimism that gradually fades away if wait is more than a month

Well that's true. But if anyone is kind enough to post about the checks and process that time. Or just the thread with info.

Very well said above. People in this forum keep asking about IP1 IP2...There is nothing you can control while in those stages, except you anxiety. Why not spend more time with the family members who you will leave soon? Have a nice weekend.

Try the Anatomy of a Background Check thread. It's usually near the top of the threads.

The only official timeline is an aim for application conclusions within 6 months. Anything else is usually speculation abd anecdotal.

Hi,,

Dont rely too much on background status if you have crossed around 4 months. My status was nxt step is BK cheks and it changed to in process and PPR in one week. It never went ti IP1 or NA or IP2.
