Hi Guys,

I am getting confused about this Inland and outland applications.

I am trying to sponsor wife to Canada. She is in India and I am in Canada- I am a permanent resident.

Now I was wondering if I need to do inland application or outland?

These are the forms I have filled out so far:
IMM1344E
IMM5481E
IMM5491
IMM5504

IMM00008
IMM5669
IMM5406
IMM5490
3904

Is there a special form I need to fill out to specify if it is inland or outland application?
Or how do I mention it to the immigration people? Do I just write it on my envelope?

Is this the address I send my application to?

CPC Mississauga

P.O. Box 3000, Station A

Mississauga, ON

L5A 4N6

Also my wife got police clearance certificate and medical done in India, so I will be sending them with the application too, right?

And for medical clearance, She is told that she is going to receive only the medical certificate as the test results directly go to the embassy, now I am not sure if this is right because we haven’t even sent the application yet so how could the results go to embassy?
Is this how it works?

Thanks guys, really appreciate it.

Above is the link to forms that you need to fill for sponsoring your spouse, as per my infor forms are not different for inland/outland. Inland is done when applicant is in CA, but it takes more processing time and also applicant is not allowed to work till the PR. Outlnad can be done even if the applicant is in CA and the address can also be given of the residence s/he is living. In you case you will go fro Outland as the applicant is in India. You write on the envelop about IN/Outland.
Address can be confirmed from the application package/CIC website.

-Yes you need to send PCC and med with application package.
-Her med will be attached to the file on the basis of the key identifier on the receipt she will get. Results are attached to the file with no error so do not worry about, Do not forget to sent her med receipt with app package.

Senior members can tell better than me so get their help too to clear the confusion. Wish you all the best.

She MUST be in Canada for you to submit an Inland application. Since she is not, your only choice is to file an Outland application.

The Outland application `package' is slightly different than an Inland package. Make sure you are submitting the forms to sponsor a person that is not in Canada!

Did your wife have her medical exam by a CIC approved Panel physician in India?

Typically, the medical results are sent directly to CIC (electronically), but perhaps it is different for her country.

Yes she did have medical done by approved Panel in India. So is she supposed to receive only the certificate?
