a visitor's visa is for people who need to travel TO canada, so if you are already IN canada it is assumed you have a visa already (either visitor, work or student) and there would be no reason to apply for another one. people who are already IN canada on a visa can not apply for a visitor's visa since they are already IN canada. If their visa is expired, then they need to apply to extend their stay.Umli3 said:???
So can I apply visitor visa under the implied status, very confused.
implied status means you are in canada and you have applied to extend your current visa or applied for the OWP and you are waiting on the decision from CIC. so if you are already IN canada, is your current visitor's visa valid? are you here on another type of visa? have you applied for inland PR and attached the OWP with your application?
