Hi,
CIC says that
'If your application lacks any of the documents without a reasonable justification, it will be returned to you or in certain circumstances could result in the refusal of your application'.

After getting AOR, if they find any information is missing, either they may return application or refuse application depends on missing info.
if they return application, we can add missing information and send it back to CIC. by the time CAP is filled, what will happen. do they consider that application as earlier they have sent AOR or they ignore it?

If you have received an AOR, it means processing of your application has begun and that your application will not be returned to you and your processing fee is no longer refundable. If you have failed to submit an important document, it can lead to the refusal of your PR visa.

When they first receive your application, they check it for completeness. If it is missing certain forms or documents then they will return it to you. After this point if you re-submit your application and the occupation cap for your chosen occupation has reached, then they will not process your application and they will refund your processing fee. If your application is complete, then they will proceed to check if your application is eligible to be processed. If it is, CIO will issue you an AOR, afterwhich processing fees are no longer refundable.

Therefore it is very important to submit all the necessary documents (as per the checklist) in the manner CIC has requested to prevent delays in processing your application or worse, refusal of your PR visa.

Lets take all the forms are submitted as per checklist. Cic has given AOR. During processing they found some typo errors on forms. Do they send it back to resubmit.

Once an application is found complete, it will not be returned.

On occasion, CIC will inform applicants of some missing information or something that is unclear or contradictory, and give you a chance to respond. They do not return your documents, and if the response does not satisfy the VO, then the application is usually refused.

On the one hand, it is good when the VO gives you a chance to clarify (they don't have to). On the other hand, the way the problem is communicated is usually a bit cryptic - they don't tell you EXACTLY what is wrong, so sometimes it's not easy to figure out how to respond.

Simple typos that are easy to figure out - nothing to worry about.
