Can some one change the University or course in the same University?

You just recently told in one of my post that you and your wife got admission in UoR right, so did you guys applied for visa yet?
You know I was really looking forward to meet students from pakistan in Regina, So tell me are you planning to change the course and moving to another province?
Also if you wanna change the course in same university I suggest you ask UoR admission department directly, I mean you dont have to tell them that you wanna to change it, just ask them casually like is it possible to change course after admission and whats the procedure for it.

Well you know I am also planning to change my course, I might change it into 1 YR master certificate.
Its more convenient since its a master course its fulfilling the requirements of SNIP, also you can continue one more year to complete your full 2Yr Master degree.
So my point is after completing one Yr master course we can easily apply for SNIP and then continue one more year if we want, so its pretty convenient.
But last time I check from admission department they are not accepting international students in master certificate courses so that why I opted for Master Degree, but I am planning to retry once I am in UoR.
By the way please explain, how you put your case. E.G bank statement, academics and stuff.

Coming to the point, she got an overall score of 6.5 but in writing a band of 5.5, in her IELTS.
Will this be a problem for her visa for Masters??
@Fahad: Can she apply for a Flemming college and after landing in Canada change to Regina??

I think Flemming college is in Ontario, so you can change province but to change course from master's to diploma you need to inform CHC.
However if you change it into a master certificate within same university then I think you are good to go.
So my advise, plan the same as I am.
Regarding visa's I can't say anything because its purely on luck, but language requirement has nothing to do with CHC, meaning if your university is OK with your IELTS score then you are on safe side.

Thanks for the reply. The University of Regina is fine with the score. We recieved our offer letter also.
My only concern is with the visa for my wife and dependent visa for myself.
Shud we apply together or not?
