Can Self Employment be counted as Work Experience ?

Hello Guys,

This is my Experience: 2 years as a Proprietor in my own company, 1.5 years as a Software Tester (NOC 2171).
I'm scoring 9 points in work exp. in Software Testing, but i'm falling short of 1 point for the total of 67, now my question is, will my experience as a Proprietor be counted ?
