Hello,

I am a temporary resident and want my mother, aunt, and nephews to visit Canada. Although family members are spouses and children, there is an option called "Tour group." My youngest nephew is 14 years old,

Can they apply through that option, or they need to apply through individual accounts? If individually, my youngest nephew needs to be in the same account with his oldest brother?

Regards,

Mother separate GCKEy and application. How old is other brother? Aunt and nephews are on GCKey with separate applications.

My oldest nephew is 18 (19 in February). I am wondering if he can be the person authorized by his parents to look after his minor brother, since my mother and her sister are elders.

That's correct, she is our aunt (my mother's sister).

If I understand correctly, they will need one account and application each. Also, that the proper person to be described in the consent letter would be my mom or my aunt. Finally, our invitation letter could be mentioning all of them but uploaded in each account/application. Is that correct?

But is the aunt, your nephew’s children? Or children travelling alone with parents? If not, yes separate accounts and application. Minor needs consent letter from the parents. Yes, invitation letter can be used for all.

My nephews are my mother's grandchildren. The plan is for my mom, my aunt (my mom's sister) and my two nephews to have vacations together. My nephews are the children of my sister, who is independent. They won't travel with their parents.

So children are not tied to either account. They will need to show their own funds, travel history, ties to return, letter of consent to travel and valid reasons to come to Canada.

I do have a similar situation where my Dad Mom sister and brother are all applying to Canada.and are doing so under the IRCC Portal. And they have the option to apply as a group, but I don't really understand the purpose of the group. As each application requires a separate form as well as documents that need to be uploaded. As it should be, but I do what to know is there any reason apply this way? Would it not be better for each to create separate accounts and submit their applications respectively?
