Can raising CSE about leaving from job after AOR and before PPR be a problem?

I'm 1st May AOR FSW(O). My job is not going on well, so I'm planning to resign on 3rd July, to serve 2 months notice period till 31 Aug(4 months after AOR). Although I'm hopeful to get PPR by that time but if I don't get it, then:
1. Should I inform CIC by the way of webform or CSE about my leaving the job?
2. Can this delay or negatively impact my application?

Thanks in advance for your valuable responses.

Best to wait until your PPR, if not you can resign & you need to inform as it will be consider as change in your situation and it will affect your application under FSW category.

Thanks for your response. I know this is a change in my situation, but it's not affecting my score. Will they still do any verifications about it?

It doesn't affect his score. His work experience points are determined until he's invited to apply. If he quits at any point after that, it's irrelevant.

The only thing I could think of is that if IRCC wants to verify your job with your current employer, they might speak to somebody who might give wrong/bad information about you because you're quitting.

Yes but only if he did not claim any points for his job offer & in other way cic asks to inform them for any life-changing situation. Its better to either inform them or wait until PPR
