Hi
I have applied for Can Plus Visa from Luxembourg on Feb. 1, 2024.
I'd appreciate if you please let me know the processing time now-a-days.
Thanks, and regards.
Can you please share your timelines. 33 weeks now. Only eligibility startedI applied for a visa on 29/11/2022 i got approval on 13/03/2024 .
i already had a visa from 2018 to 2021 . Be considered as can+ is just to give them less paper ( in the ircc portal they asked just a passport copy and ID ) But the processing time was around 15 months more than the 1st time . Conclusion : can+ avoid you to give them more paper ( invitation , bank statement …… )
So you applied for a TRV? From what country? IRCC doesn’t have to process as CAN+.Can you please share your timelines. 33 weeks now. Only eligibility started![]()

IRCC decides if processed CAN+, not you. Where did you apply from?Hi:
me and my family applied for Can+ visa in IRCC Portal on May 14, 2024. We have valid USA B1/B2 Visa and been there number of times. Still now our application on IRCC portal shows you application is under process. How long it takes to get final approval. Some people says it took 7-15 days to get approval but in our cases nothing happened yet after close to 2 months. Really confused.
I applied from Bangladesh in IRCC portal.IRCC decides if processed CAN+, not you. Where did you apply from?
You have a March refusal and just got a US visa. When did you go to the US and return? IRCC will be looking at that because of the refusal and just getting the US visa. IRCC decides whether to process as CAN+ and you still have to address reasons for refusal. IRCC may be suspicious that you applied again as soon as you got US visa. So look at current processing times.I applied from Bangladesh in IRCC portal.
If you addressed reasons for refusal then you wait for a response. Compare processing time for last refusal. IRCC doesn’t have to process as CAN+ as I previously mentioned. We have a valid USA B1/B2 since 2019 and been there 3 times so far.
