Can PGWP holder apply study permit??

Hi everyone, I am a PGWP holder and currently working in Toronto. I know I am prohibited study in Canada, however, If I want to take a part time course in college to earn a certificate, can I apply a study permit and keep my current status at the same time?? does any one has this experience?

your advise is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Dont think you can hold both at same time think they are mutually exclusive. Plus the PGWp is a one time permit so if that got cancelled due to getting another study permit that would be it for PGWP.

Others can comment but if course is less than 6 months and anyway part time would think this may be same conditions as someone on a visitor visa where study permit not required for courses less than 6 months

YES YOU CAN! I have held both at the same time. Graduated from 4 year Canadian degree, and instantly applied for 3 year PGWP. As soon as I got that, I applied for a student permit for a 1 year certificate program. Also got that. You will not be able to work and study at the same time, but if there's time left on your WP after completing your studies, you're free to work for the rest of your WP lifespan.
