Can parents visit Canada while their Super Visa application is in process

My parents live in India and they already have a regular visitor visa to visit Canada. I have also applied for their super visa during mid-January (two weeks ago). The current processing time for super visa applications is 56 days for within India applicants. However I have an urgent situation here in Canada and want my parents to travel here for about 15 days.

1) Is it possible they can travel using their regular visa while their supervisa application is in process?

2) If they can travel and if in the meantime while they are in Canada, they get a passport request for supervisa, can they submit their passport here in Canada for stamping or they will have to go back to India and submit their passports?

Hi There,
Yes, I got stamping for my mother Super Visa from Ottawa.

I have written letter explaining the situation of travel and sent the passport along with letter and it got stamped in Ottawa and sent me back to my Canada address within 2 weeks.

Hi. My mother just got a request for passport for Super Visa. She's currently in Canada. Do I need to contact the local visa office in India before sending her passport to Ottawa for stamping?
