Pretty close to nil. CIC will probably take the attitude, you didn't obey UK Immigration laws, so it is unlikely you will obey Canadian Immigration laws.

I have been in court for the last 5 years with the immigration because they refused me unjustly and now they have granted me temporary/ limited leave to remain in the country pending the final decision of the court.

Just out of curiosity, can i apply for the FSWP at all from the UK considering my status?

Yes - if you qualify to apply.

I agree your chances of obtaining a student visa are nil. Same goes for a work permit.

Immigrating is different since you don't need to prove strong ties to your home country. So FSW will work provided you qualify.

Yes , you can qualify for FSWP . That is because that is permanent visa .

But you need to get the required points.

Hi

My friend is a victim of immigration fraud in uk and because of that he became an over-stayer in UK. No fault of his own. Now he is planning to apply PR OF Canada. If he applies Canada PR will he be able to get through ?

Yes - if he applies to immigrate then he can certainly be accepted.

Note that he will have to be 100% honest about his immigration history in the UK in order to be accepted by Canada. If he tries to lie, he should assume Canada will catch this lie, refuse his application and also give him a 5 year ban from entering Canada. He should also note that any work experienced gained while in the UK illegally cannot be used to qualify to immigrate to Canada.
