Hi Guys,

I need you help on following query.

After first landing, is this possible that primary applicant come back after staying 3-4 weeks and dependent spouse stay in Canada and search for job.

If yes, do we have any timeline for primary application to come back?

Regards,
SK

Yes not a problem as long as PA lands first or they land together.

As Canuck says not a problem and in fact in theory could stay away for near 3 years not that you probably intend to. Just have to keep in mind that you need to meet the residency obligation of 2 years in Canada out of the initial 5 years from date of landing.

Also you will need your dependant spouse to courier or mail your PR card to you given without that or a PRTD you cannot board a plane to return.

Once landed, spouse is a PR with all the rights, responsibilities and obligations of such. Principal applicant can leave, but be aware of PR residency obligations and possible future impact on citizenship applications.

Thanks all for your quick response.

we will take care these points and plan accordingly.
