My friend is applying in Canadian Experience Class. He is planning to go back home for three months. My question is:
"Can one leave Canada after applying for Canadian Experience Class?"
Please help. This is urgent.
Thank you
Thank you. Actually the lawyer of my friend has strongly suggested him not to leave Canada.

He has been told by the lawyer that he should not leave Canada unless he gets the COPR.What's the reason for that?

Thank you so much for the info. Will ask my friend and get further information.I understand that. What are the actual reasons for this? The lawyer must have reasons.
A CEC application does not require someone to be physically in Canada. There is no such rule.
Thank youOne can even apply for CEC outside Canada (within a stipulated time). The only reason I could see is that if his PR gets approved while he is out, he may have to apply for PRTD, as he will not receive his PR card.
