CAN MY WIFE WORK/LIVE ANYWHERE?

Hi,

We applied for my wife's permanent residency overseas with the intention of living in Ontario, and provided an Ontario address in the application (my uncle's house). We do want to live in Ottawa with my uncle, but we also needs jobs. If we apply for jobs outside of the province, and move to, let's say, BC or NFLD, is this allowed during her first year in Canada?

Once she lands as PR in Canada then she can relocate anywhere within Canada next day .Make sure you provide correct address when landing as PR as she will be receiving her PR Card in mail after 60-70 days........Good luck

A permanent resident has the liberty to live and work any where in Canada. Should look to the provincial rules about health care insurance if moving from one province to other. Her PR card will arrive on the given address.

They are not asking about health care insurance here and just a simple question whether they can relocate to other province after getting PR for jobs etc etc...So for this simple answer is yes they can...

Coming to your point of Health Care Insurance they have to think and decide about the waiting period with each different provinces before relocation....I agree with what you saying abt the rules to look...

She can collect her PR Card once its delivered at her relatives place by in person or thru post....
