Can my spouse bring her jewellery to Canada as new immigrant?
Thanks in advance
You can bring anything and everything you want (except certain forbidden foods, etc.) and send household belongings to arrive later. But you have to declare any cash in excess of $10,000 CAD (including cash in currencies other than Canadian), and give them a list of what you are bringing with you and what is arriving later. As long as you keep an inventory of what you have, you're good, and won't have to pay tax on it.
