Can my father on his visitor visa can get my GCMS notes

I want to make a request for my GCMS notes to CIC but my question is: Can my father who is on a visitor visa and in Canada right now can apply for my notes?, because while filling the forms I see the information which makes me think that he might be able to do that, On the form it is written,
Proof that you have the right to make a request
• To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada.
• Proof may include a copy of your Canadian passport, your permanent resident card, or an official document that proves you are
currently living in Canada (i.e. driver's license, bill with proof of address, work/study permits or visitor record).


So, can he make request on my behalf, If not then he also have his friend in Canada who is a Canadian citizen I know surely that he can make the request but I don't want to bother him.

Since no one helped you yet, I'll try to help you with what I know. I don't think your father can apply for you unless he has one of the mentioned documents. However, if that was the case and you really don't want to bother his friend as well, there are a lot of online services that can request GCMS on your behalf and deliver it straight to you. The catch is that it will be a bit more expensive. I personally tried one of them and it was very good and I got my GCMS within the normal time frame, but I paid $20 instead of the normal fee for CIC ($5). It's also perfectly legal and will cause no problems for you

Thanks for replying, can you tell me the company or website you applied through? and they said that valid visitor/study/work record and my father is in Canada as a vistor right now, I think he should be able to get notes as I will be giving my consent form for him to get my files.

talha their are many online sites that order GCMS notes on your behalf e.g caipsnotes.com and gcmsnotes.com etc. Just google it and you will find it all. But I think you should ask your father to ask some of his friends or colleagues to order the notes for you if they have Canadian citizenship or PR.

nothing so far. I sent them a CSE and they told me that they're still conducting background investigations. Let's see what happens.

Can you tell me where to find the file number for your case as I already know my UCI number but the form for ATIP request require the file number of the case you want to get the notes of, can you tell me where should I find mine? and which service for GCMS are you using?

In case of study permit, the file number will be "S" followed by your application number. I didn't use any online service. My brother's friend is a Canadian citizen so he requested the notes on my behalf

I used this website: http://www.visafile.info it is a child website for http://www.lawpoint.ca which is a very popular and widely spread website for legal stuff in Canada.
They provided my notes in 29 days (standard time is 30 days and up to 45 days if there are delays). They will send you the form 2-3 minutes after you pay the money. After you sign the form and send it back to them, they will submit the request for you within 24 hours and they will send you a confirmation that it was submitted.
I apologize as I got the amount wrong in my first post, they charge $25 (I just saw it when I was pulling the website for you)
