can my father accompany me

hi guys i am high school student from Dubai. i have recently got an acceptance letter from a university in Canada and i am deciding to go there very soon but as i am going there for the first time and don't know a-lot about Canada,so can my father accompany me for few weeks so that he can make some initial settings for me...any advice will be really appreciated thanks...

Yes of course. Your father just need to have visitor visa, passport, and flight ticket to come with you to Canada.

so do i need to mention in my father's visa application that i am going to Canada just to do some arrangements for my son or i can get him a visa without mentioning this, i mean just a normal visit visa.

If you have to write down the purpose of his visit, you should just tell the truth. It's easier.
