Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I have 406 CRS points and have been working(with PGWP) since 18 months in ontario as a contract. Now the company is offering a full-time job. I am wondering if my employer can apply for LMIA after accepting the full-time job.

If the answer is NO!!>> should i wait until the score drops to 406 or is there any way that i can use my experience to get the PR.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you.

Yes - your employer can obtain an LMIA.

But the CIC website says the employer should have positive LMIA before offering a full time job.

Your employer can apply, whether it will be accepted is another question.

Normally CIC suggests you to get LMIA, then accept that offer. But for some reason you can work in Canada without LMIA, you can take the job, then apply LMIA later. (But that also means your job will be posted again for 1 month + and so on)

Absolutely, yes they can get you an LMIA. My employer had to do that for me. I started a new job in January of 2015 without a LMIA because when I originally accepted the offer no one knew what EE was going to require. So, 2 weeks after I started my job, they applied for an LMIA for the same job. I was granted a positive LMIA about 3 weeks later.
