Can My Employer Amend my T4 form taxable year 2009?

Is anybody can help me here please. I'm a Temporary Foreign Worker under Live-in Caregiver Program and next month I am qualified or met the needed requirements to apply for a Permanent Residence and worried about my T4 form taxable year 2009. Is it possible that my employer will gonna change my address? Or do we need a legal amendments for that? The digits are correct but only I'm worried with my address. Because I'm thinking, Immigration might think that I'm a live-out caregiver then; but the real story was that my Employer's Accountant put the old home address of my employer in the T4 form which we didn't change before I went to HR Block. I just informed my Accountant/HR Block that my address is the current home address that I am working which she allowed me to wrote it in a post-it tiny yellow paper and attached in my T4 form. That's why all the checks and all my CRA letters sent thru my address where I'm working and living with my employer that no problem about that.

hi! if it is just the address that concerns you, you don't have to worry. you said that it was on your 2009 T4, right? your employer will file another T4 for 2010 and he/she can change that for you. as long as the entries on your T4 are correct, it's all good. if your concern are those checks or CRA letters, you can change your mailing address anytime by writing or calling the CRA for any change in your mailing address. or just simply change it when you file your income tax this year. it's really not a big deal. you will also write your mailing address on your PR application form if it's different from your current address. hope this helps!
