Depends in which country you are doing your meds. e.g. in UAE passport is not necessary. You need to check with the DMP what they accept as a proof of identification.

My passport was with UKBA for an extension of my Tier 1 visa. I had my medical done in Manchester without the passport. I had to show them the UKBA acknowledgement letter that I was saying the truth about the unavailibility of the passport, and the passport copy. I had no problem.

Hi kiala,

I hv done it, in my country of residence without passport but i did produce passport copies and national ID to DMP.

I had same situation like urs,wht i did was called designated clinic,explained situation and found the way out.

Hw it works in pakistan im not sure,i suggest u to talk to designated staff in the clinic.remember NID sd have clear photo on it.
