Pls folks help. need to clarify issue on letter of invitation. Im a perm. resident and would like to invite my mom for a temporary visit. Will the LOI from me be any efficient if my job is not permanent or part-time, and also have been only for 3 last months. But I have my own funds. if I show together with job confirmation the bank statement, will it be helpful at all?

Another question: can the letter of invitation be sent by some my friend instead who, of course, would have no any relationship/connection to my mom.

Would so much appreciate your help guys out there, any info.
all the best to all,
aggie

You can invite your mother for a visit, but she would still have to qualify for the TRV on her own.

That means she'd have to show she has sufficient ties to her home country that would cause her to return.

Well, if you had a full-time position and were earning good money, that would help your mother's application because it would be clear you could provide accomodations for her.

But there are no rules I've seen that say how much you should earn or how long you should have been here before issuing a letter of invitation.
