I am going to do a complaint regarding my low score of IELTS test. anybody had this situation?

after complaints can more points? please replay or should I sit the exam again?

it is really a lengthy process and getting a better score is very rare.so better don't do it.and take another date for ielts

I believe there is a fee for it and chances are small. Take the test again

If you are really confident then go for it. They will charge a fee but if you are confident that you will get a better score for sure then go for it......good luck

If you are really confident for sure :P then what do you think about British council? do you think they are confident on their score :'( i have seen many people who applied for higher score but result was the same all the time, you have only 1% chance to be higher but 99% result never change in ielts inquiry?

Better apply for new test. but remember if english on same level as before then there will be no change in repeated test. Sometime half bend would be up and down in repetition.

Bad idea, take another IELTS test........... well see that you practice harder!!!!!! :o :o :o :o

I wouldnt be amazed to see if they had cut your current score to any mark after you had applied for a revaluation. I'd still go for a revaluation.

u better sit for ur test again. study and practice harder this time and FYI "replay" is not "reply".

I think that you would be better practising more and re-sitting your IELTS to obtain a better score. I see from your post that you made a couple of basic mistakes. With the help of the good people on this forum, listening to BBC World Service radio, reading newspapers etc you will be better prepared the next time. You can travel elsewhere to the IELTS if this is an option for you. Also, if you have a "smart" phone, there are a few apps you can download to practise.

You've already made a thread here about this:

Why make another one for the same thing?

I have never heard of anyone challenging an IELTS score, and certainly not getting the results changed.

If you made a low score, it is because your standard if English was poor when you took the test. If you feel that isn't representative of your standard of English, then my best advice is to simply take another test.

Taking another exam will be quicker and infinitely less costly than mounting legal action against the British Council, and frankly I can't see you have any grounds to challenge them. Your standard of written English seems quite poor from the posts you've made (obviously I can't comment on your standard of spoken English).

So not only for purposes of your PR application, but also to improve your chances of securing a job when you do make it to Canada, I think you'd do well to work on your English, or French.

Listening and Reading only can hypothetically change as they are graded against correct answers. So
Writing and Speaking can theoretically change as they are graded by people so there is some subjectivity.
However, in reality I am yet to hear from somebody who got reevaluated with any change to higher score.
I, personally wasted USD$100+ (for Writing).
