Can I work on applied status as a truck driver to USA?

I had a question, I am getting a job in trucking company but I will have to drive cross border. Can I work, while being on applied status for work permit after studies?

implied/maintenance status is cancelled after you cross the border.
I don't think you could do so until you get the actual work permit.
Do you have US visa? Or you have US passport/green card?

You are on implied status so once you leave country it is cancelled and you can no longer work. Study permit expires 90 days after completion of program.
