Guys please can you confirm if I can work more than 20 hours. My ircc portal shows that my confirmation of online transmission was September 18 2022. However I deferred and resumed in June 2023 instead of January 2022 and want to start working more than 20 hours from this month (October 2023) but don’t want to get in trouble.
ircc website says this - From November 15, 2022, until December 31, 2023, you can work more than 20 hours per week off campus while class is in session if you meet certain requirements: If you applied for a study permit (or extension) on or before October 7, 2022
I want to confirm if this October 7 is the date on ircc portal that says confirmation of online transmission. I’m I elegible? Will I get in trouble if I overwork?
