Can I work In canada?

I am new to this forum.First of all I realy appriciate the efforts made by forumist here.My first question is if a uk national want to come to canada for more than 6 months and also willing to work.what He needs to do?

1. Start your reading here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp
2. If you are a UK citizen, under 30 you can apply for a BUNAC working holiday visa, which would allow you to work in Canada at most jobs for a year. If you are interested, you better apply fast, as applications will probably close by the end of December.
