Hi. I'm a temporary resident in Canada holding a post graduate work permit. I was wondering if I could work for a US company while I'm in Canada and if my work would count towards the Canadian Experience Class later on for PR purposes?

Short answer is no.

You can work for a US Company however this won't count as Canadian work experience.

If the US company has a registered office in Canada, your salary gets paid in CAD and you pay your taxes in Canada with a T4 issued by your company; then your employment should qualify for Canadian work experience.

Thanks, this makes sense

Hi ,If USA company has no registered address in Canada ,but they have a Registered Business Number for CRA.
PEO Canada takes care oy my Payroll, They Pay me in CAD$ Deduct all the taxes like Canadian Employer Does, and issues me T4.
My T4 However say Employer as US company, will it be counted as Canadian Experience
