Is it permissible to travel by airplane using a Refugee Protection Claimant Document as identification if I am visiting my friends in Calgary from Vancouver?

Yes you can use it for domestic travel

I use my driver license never had a problem. You don’t need any documents to travel domestically other than a piece of an id.

You can use that as ID
