I got my canadian passport, and I have a passport from Country A. I want to travel and use my passport like this.

Fly from Canada to Country B (transit), then Country A. Enter Country A with passport from Country A (home country)

Leave Country A. Fly to Country C (transit). My question is, can I enter Country C with my Canadian passport? Then fly out from Country C back to Canada. Land and get in Canada through my Canadian passport.

Is this allowed?

If your home country allows dual citizenship, then yes, you can do that. Your passport from home country would still be valid as a dual citizen.

But if the home country does not allow dual citizenship, one can still do that. The foreign country might not care.

If you don’t inform the foreign country that you have attained another citizenship, yes this would work. But then, it would be fraud. I guess the individual won’t care either.

The foreign country might not care if one inform them that you have attained multiple citizenship and this wouldn't be fraud.

Like which country, for example? There's a reason why a country allows dual citizenship or not. If a country "doesn't care", wouldn't that country allowing duality? So, please cite those countries that don't care.

I'm vietnamese. As far as I know, Vietnam allows dual citizenship. The Country B I was thinking of would be like Japan, where a Viet citizen would need a visa but Canadian citizen doesn't need a visa for touristy purposes

Take the OP as an example. Why Vietnam allows dual citizenship? Sure, it's a former French protectorate. How about Japan? Do Japan care if you are both a Canadian and Vietnamese citizen?

Can you cite which countries "cares".

When a country doesn't allow dual citizenship, that means you lose your citizenship on that country. Hence, you cannot hold that country's passport. If you're not allowed to hold that country's passpirt and you use that country's passport, then its fraud. It's that simple.

So let's go back to the queztion of dual citizenship. If vietnam allows dual citizenship then that means you can still keep that country's passport even if you become a citizen of another country. That's why its called dual citizenship.

Germany for one, dual citizenship forbidden by law. There are plenty of others, although less so now than there used to be.
Exactly. And I think India also does not allow dual citizenship.

Apart from the dual citizenship question, there's really no issue. Airlines will readily accept that you show them passport of a different country (than the ticket ws booked with) as long as you show you'll be allowed to enter the country of destination.

So general guidelines:
-most countries that their citizens enter and leave with passport of that country;
-airlines WILL ask that you show you can enter a country you are visiting (i.e. you have visa or a passport that allows visa waivers);
-you should still - in most cases - use the same passport to enter and leave a given country (i.e. airlines and passport control are different things);
-usually airlines don't have a problem with passengers showing more than one passport - their issue is not taking you to a place you'll be refused entry (usually because they have to pay to remove you).

YMMV and name / DOB differences can or might cause issues.

How about Japan? Can you use your Canadian passport to enter Japan and use your Vietnamese passport for exit?
