Can I use Debit card?

Just like to point this out as I have come across many people in Canada that don't understand a Visa debit card. A Visa debit card will act like a credit card and withdraw money straight from the account, if the funds are available if not then it will go on as credit into an overdraft on the account. I use my Visa debit card for all transactions that require credit cards.

Completely agree. Visa Debit card can be used anywhere they ask for a Credit card. I am using visa debit card (with international transaction opened) and have not faced any difficulty so far.

There were no problems with paying by Visa Debit Card.

Debit card actually debits amount from my savings account, on a given transaction.

You may use a visa debit card. I have already applied for PR and I used my visa debit card to make the payments as I do not have a credit card hope this helps.
