Can I use any IELTS test marks which I took?

Hi,

I took an IELTS exam and got 6.5 overall band but this mark is not enough for me to create express entry profile as I am not having any Canadian experience. I am planning to take another IELTS exam, but I have a question. If I get lower score than previous exam means can I use my first IELTS score for express entry? Is there any condition that CIC will only consider the latest result? Please suggest

It is not about the overall score. What is your score in each skill; reading, listening, etc?
If you get lower score, you can choose to use the higher. That's not an issue.
Thanks for the quick response.

Below is my individual score
Listening : 7
Reading: 6
Writing: 6.5
Speaking: 6

If next time I get lower or didn't met the minimum score means can I use this score?

You can use any scores as long as they are >=6-band(each in all 4 sections) and <2-years of validity. I have seen friends using the 2nd IELTS even when he or she wrote the 4th one already. Good luck.
