Hi,

I have an offer letter from my previous job which meets all the the requirement for a valid job offer (full time, up to a year and continuous - not seasonal). I am currently working for another employer, however it's a 5 months contract and therefore not a valid offer. Can I use my previous valid job offer to apply and get the points for it? Or do I need to currently work at the job in which I got the offer? I don't see it stated anywhere whether or not I have to be working for the employer who gave the offer.

Thanks in advance for any help..

I believe it should be a valid job offer meaning once youget the PR you should be able to join the job

So it would have been valid on the last month of the contract? Or the time left on the contract has to be longer than the time it takes to process the PR ( about 6 months)

A valid job offer has to (among other things) be valid for at least one year AFTER you become a permanent resident. It is a job offer for the FUTURE, not the past, the job offer needs to be valid at the time you apply all the way through until the day you land. So, no, your old job offer does not count.
