Hello,
I'm a US-trained physician and got an invitation letter (outlander), but I still have a legally binding job contract with my home country that will expire in three years, but I don't want to miss my chance of getting a PR.
I learned that I'd need to spend 2 years out of 5 in Canada to avoid getting my PR revoked. My question is, Can I proceed with my application, and when/if I get my PR, I then "turn off" my residency for three of years ahead then visit and settle in Canada?
