Can i travel to Canada i have COPR

Hi there,

Can anybody help me out , i am the dependent and I recently received my COPR along with my passport and stamped as an immigrant. But my spouse who is principal applicant still waiting for portal credentials. I just wanted to can I travel to Canada or not ?

Please reply if anyone knows anything about this scenario. Thank you.

No, DON’T! If you travel to Canada BEFORE your spouse, who is the principal applicant formally receives his COPR, your passport will be seized at the airport. Just be patient and wait for your spouse to get his.

can you please suggest me , my spouse already sent current status of her as inland and mine as outside Canada in web form which was received on October 18 in email.
but still she is waiting for portal credentials, and i got immigrant stamped visa and COPR letter.

what should we do to get her portal 1/2 and eCOPR ? Please let us know ,we will be very thankful to you for this.

You (dependant) CANNOT land before the principal applicant. It doesn’t matter whether you have visa stamped. Your need to be patient. When does your visa expire?

Hi All, COPR details for my CEC application are updated on the application tracker on Nov 9th. But, I have not received any portal or eCOPR till now.

Can anyone please confirm the average time that takes to receive eCOPR?

I am really tense at this moment as my PGWP will expire on DEC 5th 2023.

And, the application still says in progress.

When I reached out to the IRCC helpline they suggested I apply for a work permit extension. Please advise me.
