can I travel outside Canada while processing PR under FSW.

asking the question as behalf of my friend.

Can her husband (principal applicant) with closed work permit travel outside Canada for few days (going to US )

she asked CIC and couple of different places, but got different answer all the time.

if the visa and work permit is valid then dosent seem like any problem.
knew a couple people who used to go on holidays while on work permit and PR in process.
but you must have valid status. no implied status or restoration period.
Plus must have complied with all conditions of original entry.

despite all this, aliens have no automatic fight to enter Canada. BSO at port of entry will check your status and if he/she is satisfied that u fulfill conditions then u will be allowed entry.
