Can I travel as a tourist with sx-1 visa ?

Hi, I have a MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA as a student in the category SX-1 which it is valid until december 2018. I traveled to Canada last year to studying English. I´m planning travel back to Canada as a TOURIST this 2018 summer.

It is posible travel with that kind of visa? or I need to process a visit visa?

Your student visa is a not a travel visa, if you want to visit as a tourist you have to apply for tourist visa.

Are you finished your studies? When you land you could be denied entry if you can't prove that you are a student and you are now just planning on traveling.

Yes I finished and I'm now in France. But what is the point of getting a 10years multi entry sx-1 visa if it was just for a 4 months exchange program ?

You do not need to apply for a new TRV. You should be fine to enter provided you can show all of the regular visitor proofs, i.e. a return ticket, funds, itinerary etc.

We have the same issue.
It depends on the agent. Once I have just explained the reason why I was going back to Canada + showed all proofs and the guy was easy going. Another time the agent asked me 1000 questions and recommended me to apply for a tourist visa.
