Can I take on new job offer while waiting for CIC to process my PR?

I'm just wondering if I am free to take another job in Canada (same province) while waiting for CIC to process my PR (16 months are long). And if I am free to leave Canada at all?

Post Graduate Work Permit. Got my ITA for BC PNP under Skilled Immigrants today.

I can go the EE route if I wait for another 6 months to get one year work experience then get the PR in 6 months. Not sure if it is worth the risk.

If you have to change job while waiting for PR, are the below steps correct?

1. Notify AINP by letter of the new job details by getting a job letter from the new employer. Do I need a job description as well?

2. Notify IRCC...do I just upload the new job letter via Case Specific Enquiry?
