Dear Friends,

Am from India, recently have received acceptance letter from University of Regina, SK for doing my M.A.Sc. full time 24 months with full stipend for the same period. I'am recently married and willing to take my wife along with me for this fall as dependent. She has completed her Master Degree with 8 CGPA from Anna university, Chennai and got good proficiency in english. Should I be applying VISA for both of us together or apply separate once I get my study permit VISA in hand? Kindly help planning to apply VISA in next three days.

Regards

If you have full stipend the process is much easier and normally Visa applications are easily accepted. However if you really do not want to take any risks, It is better to apply first and get the Visa and then apply for your spouse after your get the visa. Your wife's application will be very easy as a dependent once you receive the visa.

If you have good financial status and good ties to your country plus a good academic background then you should be fine applying for both of you at the same time. If you think any of the above is not completly strong then go ahead apply alone and then apply for your wife

Good luck
