can i work in Canada when i arrive there .( i am going there under study visa)

i have heard that we can work without work visa ( 20 hour /week) while we study.

yes, if you find some on campus job, you can do it.

but you need a off campus work permit to start doing 20 hrs job.

and for off campus you can only apply after 6 months of full time study.

On campus means when u reach ottawa and straight go to campus and switch on the university mode then u will be on campus ---punjabi bahi app ottawa ah jahoo pher app ki job be hu jahay gi ----

On campus means that for the first six months, you can only hold a job on the campus/grounds of the university you are attending. Examples of on campus jobs could be: working at your university's library, working in a cafeteria at your university, working at the gym/athletic centre of your university, etc.
