I think you need to provide more information regarding your PR/situation.
Were you sponsored by your father or you are an accompanying dependent child under 19 years old? If you are a dependent child, i don't think he must support you for any amount of time (legally). If he sponsored you, he has the obligation until you turn 25.
Your father cannot undertake your wife sponsorship instead of you.

I am not sponsored by myself..the principal applicat is my mom and i'm just an accompanying dependent currently 22 years of age..the reason why i'm asking these things is because i want to speed up the sponsorship of mu spouse and child via my dad..hehe..but if to no avail then i am obliged to do the task..however, i have some set of troubles in mind..first of all, is it that easy to land a job in calgary? because obviously i need an income/job to qualify as an eligible sponsor..what worsens this worry is i am not well educated as i am an undergraduate in the philippines with no work experience at all even in some fastfood chains..and my credentials in my academics in college is somewhat bad..i dont want to study here in canada as i would like to land a job asap (menial jobs should suffice)..the bottomline is i just want to be with my wife and son the soonest..my wife currently has no job and is at college level..in other words, a housewife..what can you say about this? a reply would be very much appreciated..thank you in advance..

If you haven't done so already, you need to land in Canada and officially become a PR. DO NOT marry your girlfriend before you come to Canada.

Once you have landed in Canada and officially become a PR, you must then return to the Philippines and marry your girlfriend so that you can sponsor her for PR. (She could also try to apply for a TRV to come to Canada and get married here - but this TRV will most likely be refused.)

Once you are married, you will need to return to Canada and file the sponsorship application to sponsor her. You will need to remain in Canada while the application is being processed. You can take a few short trips outside of Canada (2-3 weeks) - but don't make them any longer or your application may be refused for failing to live in Canada.

You do not need to have a job in order to sponsor your girlfriend and child. However you cannot be on welfare / social assistance.

Did you live with your girlfriend before coming to Canada?

You need to follow CIC instructions in the application package for spousal sponsorship as well your country specific checklist, it will list all documents you need to provide as a sponsor. In your case you don't have to show minimal income to sponsor your wife/child. One thing you need to be careful about is regarding your cohabitation with your girlfriend, if you two have lived together for over a year before your landing you are considered common-law and you should have declared her as your non-accompanying dependent along with your child. But if you have not lived together and you marry her after the landing as Scylla suggested you should be fine.

Your father cannot co-sign. However, he can provide supporting documents, showing that he will assist you.

i should be fine then because we didn't live together..but can i ask you a something? what are the consequences if for example we lived together as common law and i have not declared her as non
accompanying? and would be it be a problem is she has no job back in the philippines? would that affect my sponsorship of ever?

If that would have been the case you would never be able to sponsor her. You would also have the risk of your own PR being revoked because of misrepresentation.

There has been some discussions about this on here lately. It does appear as you would have a chance if you take something like that to court, but your chances would be extremely, extremely slim.

I concur with scylla. Once you have your PR here in Canada, then you can get married (in the Philippines) and apply for visa for your new wife and your son. I am concerned though that if your son wasn't declared on the family members form already given to CIC, you could have a problem. Did your mother list her grandson?
