One more question though, did your mom provide your dad's name or anything on the visitor VISA form, even she mistakenly checked the divorce box?
Even I never filled out a visitor VISA application, I do believe that there should be some items for the applicants to fill family information, right?
i think yeah she did even the dates

is there any province where english and french are not required for PR? just asking man in case our application got denied

I believe the only immigration stream that not require the proficiency of English or French is family sponsorship, which is not for you. For all other streams, English proficiency is one of the must have requirements to obtain PR to Canada. Not sure about French though.

she provided the date of divorce ?

if yes, it seems it was done intentionally (although i know you have mentioned it multiple times that it was a mistake).

it says you have to be canadian or PR
Man, you gotta be more clear about your answer?

What dates you referred to? Like what Pearl1 said Divorce Date? Or Your mom filled your Dad's information on her Visitor VISA application, including your Dad's birthday? Which one?

my dad birthday

my dad birthday
Then, as I said, your case is a very simple case, your mom did an honorable mistake by checking that divorce box.

Providing an explanation letter to state the fact that she made a mistake should be sufficient. Actually I believe the CIC has been aware of that already and they understood, because if they had issue with that mistake, then your mom's work permit wouldn't be approved back then.
