Can I show my education in Express Entry if my post graduation diploma is NOT from PGWP eligible college?

Hello Altruist,

I am currently doing Clinical Research Postgraduate Diploma at Oxford College, Scarborough (DLI- O19375414252). This is a private college and currently NOT offering any PGWP eligible program. I am staying in Canada on a Temporary Resident Visa. Can I apply in Express Entry (EE) pool with the postgraduate program as my latest education?

What does your study permit say. You can work on campus but your study permit will tell you if you are authorized to work off campus.

PGWP has nothing to do with part time work so no. But your study permit has to say you can work off campus.

ok got it, ty so much.
also there was nothing mentioned on the website as to why the ircc would allow somebody or not allow somebody to work PT...any views on that.

It's up to the VO. Scam colleges will often be suspected and students will only be offered part time on campus or no part time at all. You know because some people come to Canada and are more interested in working than studying.
